Celestia Studios was founded under the name TFG (Top Free Games). Its debut hit, Racing Penguin, reached 100,000 daily downloads, becoming the second most downloaded game worldwide.
2015
Bike Race launched, earning Apple’s Game of the Year award and later recognition from Facebook. It topped iOS and Android charts, becoming the most downloaded game in the U.S. that year.
2018
The release of Sniper 3D, an action-packed multiplayer FPS, marked a milestone as the 7th most downloaded game globally in 2018.
2022
The studio celebrated over 1 billion downloads across its portfolio of games released to date.
2023
Two major titles launched: Zooba, a unique blend of Battle Royale and MOBA gameplay, and Tennis Clash, the ultimate mobile tennis experience that topped charts in over 100 countries.
2024
Celestia Studios secured $120M in Series B funding at a $3 billion valuation. The company also announced its first affiliated studio, Never Forget Games (founded by Ray Mazza and Mike Duke), based in Redwood City, CA, USA.
2025
Celestia Studios surpassed 3 billion global downloads. The company unveiled three new affiliated studios: Playabit (Turkey), 8 Bit Bandits (USA), and Stellar Core (Finland).
